End User License Agreement

Version 2.0

This is an agreement between You (the “License Owner”) and Me (Fer Cozzi). By purchasing, downloading, installing or using the digital font software (hereafter “The Font”), you accept the terms of this agreement. If you do not accept the terms, you can not download, request or use any font of the Fer Cozzi catalog. If you believe that your use or need is not specified, please ask me before buying a license.

By agreeing to this agreement you receive a perpetual, non-exclusive,
non-transferable license for the use of a font software subject to all terms and conditions of this agreement. This license may be revoked if any
violation happens.

You are not receiving the copyright to the design or the ownership over the font software, but the rights to use as specified in this agreement. All other use cases other than the specified in this agreement require an additional License, if you have any questions or enquiries, please contact me.

You agree that I hold all rights to the Font, code and related files, including copyrights, design and trademark rights.

You can make archival copies of the fonts for your own purposes, but you may not rent, lease, sublicense, lend or distribute the the Fonts, or any copy thereof, except as expressly provided herein.

You may not modify the Font for your own purposes in any case. You may not decompile, reverse-engineer, reformat, alter, edit, or create derivative works of the Fonts. You may not commission a third party to modify the Fonts and you may not distribute, sell or give away, publicly or privately share any versions of the fonts. Please contact me for customization service to all of my typefaces, from just a few glyphs to whole families and I’ll send you a price quote and other specitications for the job.

I may withdraw any Licenses from a License Owner in case the Fonts are used to spread racism, fascist, sexism, xenophobia, homophobia or any other form of discrimination and/or intolerance is strictly prohibited. The use in political campaigns requires a written consent and a special license by me. Please contact me to request an authorization before purchasing a license. I reserve the right to revoke any Licenses that violate this item and the license fee will not be refunded.

In the event of termination, all Fonts and back-up copies must be deleted; this act has to be proven and documented upon request by me.

💰 Commercial License

This license allows the License Owner to use the fonts commercially, and any designers or agencies using the fonts on behalf of the License Owner.

This is a crossmedia license which covers all formats –OTF, WOFF and WOFF2 files– but not all uses. You’re allowed to:

Install the Fonts on desktop computers (print/desktop) of your organization in order to design images and documents for print and screen. Webfonts can be used to create texts on your site (web). There is no limit to the number of domains or sub-domains in which Webfonts can be served as long as they all belong to and are under the exclusive control of “License Owner”. You can embed (app/digital product/e-book) the Fonts or rasterized images from the Fonts in Mobile App, Digital Product or eBook under control of License Owner organization. You are responsible for preventing that the final reader/user is restricted from changing its embedding permissions, extracting the complete font from the document, and creating or editing new content using the Fonts.For small branding proyects –less than 100 employees organizations– you may use the Fonts in their logo (logo) but if exceeds that amount of employees the licensing organization will need to purchase a customized license by email.

You may not create alphabet products, or devices for the creation of forms of letters (such as but not limited to stamps, decals, adhesive letters, goods for sale or Non-Fungible Tokens [NFT]), or any product or derivative product, linked to the form of letters and other glyphs contained in the Font. Neither use the Fonts in any application in which an unlicensed third party could use them to customise their own designs or to create static documents or images (such as but not limited to online design application or print-on-demand service). For this kind of usages you’ll need to purchase a customized license by email. Please contact me.

To use the Fonts in video games, films, TV/series, Broadcasting/Streaming a special license is required. Please contact me.

🔮 Trial License

Trial Fonts have a reduced character set, fewer or no OpenType features, limited support, and are available only in OTF (OpenType CFF) format.

You can use the Trial Fonts for testing and create images, mockups and layouts to be presented to your clients as well as for paid and unpaid pitches. Student work or for personal social media projects (on the condition that you credit within the post) are allowed, but if you use the Trial Fonts and ends up for commercial purposes, you must purchase a full version of the fonts. You may not distribute, adapt, modify or alter the Trial Fonts to create a derivative product/font.

🧪 Beta License

Beta fonts are also almost finalized and ready-to-use typefaces, but they’re not yet fully released for various reasons.

I make no warranties, expressed or implied on Beta font files. These fonts are a work in process. These fonts are released on the sole purpose to develop the best possible product in collaboration with the information our clients and customers provide us. Your feedback is very important to the development of this project and do not hesitate to contact me.

By purchising a Beta typeface, you will receive the following updates like final font release or else. You can simply contact me to grab the latest font files.

This is an add-on to the Commercial License and all terms and conditons shall remain.

📚 Educational License

This license apply only for current students to use in their academic work. Please purchase a full license if you wish to use the fonts in other contexts.

🛠 Technical Considerations

Although I do my best to achieve the highest technical level in our products, I cannot guarantee that the operation of the fonts will be error-free. If you do experience any difficulties with the Fonts, I will look into the problem and do everything that I can to work with you to resolve any issues. Unfortunately I can’t give you a refund. All purchases are final. I do not guarantee that the font files work perfectly on every platform, operating system, etc. You are using the fonts on your own risk.

I cannot guarantee the performance or results that you can obtain using the fonts. It is your responsibility to ensure that the fonts are fit for your purposes.

I may possibly update the font and these situations some price updates may apply.

✂️ Modifications and Termination

I reserve the right to amend or modify this Agreement without prior notice, in particular for technical developments that may render obsolete or incomplete any provisions herein.

Any breach of the terms and conditions of this agreement terminates your license to use the fonts. After any termination of the agreement you must destroy any copies of the fonts, including your archival copies.

If you purchased a font before July 2021, the license you originally purchased remains in effect until you choose to change it.
