About Aimé

Aimé is a display type family explores the idea of sculpting letterforms. The result is a rough mix between rustic and expressive shapes. The project studies the morphological peculiarities of letters and diacritics present in languages recognized in the Argentine territory.

Aimé is named after Aimé Painé, stage name of Olga Elisa Painé. She was an Argentine singer of Mapuche and Tehuelche origin who dedicated herself to the rescue and dissemination of the folk music of her people.
